For those that pause the timer and get distracted, do not beat yourself up. This takes practice, sometimes you'll only get five minutes, sometimes three, sometimes fifteen. It does get easier over time. Simply try again until you can do the 25 mins. I certainly believe in you.

To everyone who's studying with this video: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧 • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨️ • Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. 📖 I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight 😴🧸

I procrastinated for the first 5 hours of the day, convincing myself I would study but kept getting distracted by KZbin videos. After Isat my but down and was like, "YOU have to finish studying for the 19292292 million tests tomorrow- I searched up Pomodoro". Just as soon as this 2 hour session was done, I finished making my AP Psych quizlet. Thank you so much- I was so hyper focused with this! Will use again after like 10 minutes for my next session

Because of corona, a lot of things changed in my daily habits...(my level of laziness reached a new level...) I should be graduating in January and have only 2 classes to study by myself (you would think: easy shit) But I have been delaying my work for 3-4 months now, I was starting to feel desperate. KZbin recommended me this video...that can't be a coincidence hahaha. For the first time in 3-4 months, I can say I did a lot of productive schoolwork thanks to this video! Going to start using this from now on to study and to finish my assignments! Thanks for sharing this and good luck to all the fellow students with their studies. UPDATE: Graduated and working full time! God is good! (And so is this video)

This works best for me!! I start at 6 after taking a shower and changing after school. I do half of it, 2 work sessions and 2 rest sessions. I pause and do the rest of the night routine (eat, skincare, etc) and take a half hour/ hour break. I come back refreshed and finish the rest. I end about 9 oclock with enough time to laze around until 10 oclock when I sleep. I only ever get so much rest as a highschool student- and I want to balance my sleeping schedule, my pastimes, and my studies after a hard day at school. Remember, 8 hours of rest is advised for teens. After learning for more than 8 hours everyday (+2 hours studying) , it should be balanced out with adequate sleep at night. Take care of yourselves!

This technique is amazing, I put a 10 hour long song in the background and just start working ! I got all my homework (for this week) done in one day and I studied for my spanish test using this technique.

@star I did really good and I'm really proud of my results, I got kind of nervous at the end of the test so I kind of messed up there but other than that she said that I almost sounded Latin-american/spanish (I still have to work on it) and that I overall did very well :)

To everyone who's studying with this timer: Checklist: 1) A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 2)Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 3)Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake anyone up🎧 3) A tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake(I usaully prefer coffee), green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ 4) Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone, a few pens, paper, or whatever you need.⌨ 5) Anything else you could need, what about a heating pad, keeping yourself warm all the time isn't bad! a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy!!! 🐈 6) Remember you'll be hungry so grab some snack too! Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. yup You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. +plus dont overwork yourself! I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight ( This comment isn't originally mine, but I think it can help a lot of people :D )
