WOW a 1.5 wall tent. (2 walls on the porch mode side) .VERY well designed. Love the peak at the end entrance and the side flaps. Still get a good sized vestibule (dog house). Not sure I would want to set this up every day. but once for a week end or long stay GREAT. At 150.00 USD, Fantastic, almost to good to be true

Wow. Some very clever designer at Pomoly just took the baker style tent to a whole new level. I just love it. I have a baker tent in a shopping cart I was just about to order. I am glad I didn't. I will definitely wait for your upcoming video on this bad boy. This is just perfect for my wife, dog and myself for 4 seasons and a base camp for our prospecting adventures. If you have any influence with Pomoly, please ask them to develop and offer a collapsible pole kit for this tent. I have no way to carry poles nor do I want to have to cut poles on site. That would make this unit just about perfect for me. Great review Lonewolf.

This looks pretty amazing. Edit: only concern was placement of the stove. It's not in a bad place, it's just in the way if that's the primary entrance. I see now it has a door on the other side as well. I may pull the trigger on this. Thanks for sharing 👍

I’ve just watched a review of this tent on TheOutdoorGearReview and I’m so glad I did as I WAS about to pre order one. The results were shocking, this tent let’s in so much rain that he had a pool in it by the morning, it looks about as waterproof as a roll of toilet paper, very disappointing.

Another advantage of using trekking poles in supporting a tent like this is that they can be angled to allow easier entry and exit, without affecting the support of the tent. The trekking pole lengths can be adjusted to allow for the angle needed. Very well engineered tent and I think it will be a hit for Pomoly.

Good initial coverage of this tent as always, I was waiting (not for long) to see what this tent was like. Looks like a winner, designed by someone who actually wants to use this tent by the looks of it. Wanted to hot tent for a while and I really like this tent but I will end up with a Tipi style as not being able to stand up would be a problem for me. How they do this for the price is amazing, I guess they hope you will purchase a Pomoly Ti stove to go with it.

Nice review. I own a one tigris outback tent which is very similar. But this tent I believe is more versatile. First because it's a hot tent and more so the flaps which prevent wind on the sides is a nice touch. Also love the guy out lines already included. Definitely going to add this to my tent collection since I already like the configuration. Very very reasonable at $149.00 US. Great review. This one is a winner for sure.

This tent looks great. I'm thinking of purchasing it for myself as a christmas present. I just don't have a stove for inside yet unfortunately. I’m more of a canvas and wool bushcraft camper but this is perfect for bringing my woman and the pups with us as they get colder and bothered by bugs before I do, haha, I love it. Great review, as always. I own two Pomoly canvas tents a well as stoves. They are great products. Two thoughts. I would hope they will eventually offer this in canvas, and I would like to see a stove jack in the outside center of the canopy for a covered cooking area for rainy days. Thanks for the review.

For $30.00 USD you can order a stove jack and sew it into the canopy. Lonewolf just dropped a vid sewing one into a cheap tent. You do make a great point for cool weather cooking.

I’ve been watching loads of video reviews on all of the ‘hot tent’ options available, as I’m interested in setting something like that for my camping here. At first I wasn’t sure what I’d be thinking about this tent, but your excellent review really has me fascinated with it. It seems to be a modern/better designed Baker tent. I’m now thinking this could actually be my Goldilocks tent. It should be brilliant in our warmer Australian seasons (which get bloody hot, but equally brilliant in the coldest climates I’m likely to face. Seems light/small enough to take canoeing, motorcycle/quad bike touring, hunting and just plain general camping. Only question in my mind is how you think it’ll perform in strong winds (not on top of exposed ridges or anything, just heavy weather generally 🤔)

So thats not entirely true, the tent in my video is a prototype that does not leak , the production version others have does leak, and pomoly stopped manufacturing these many weeks ago and is now changing the design, so currently they are not for sale only for pre order. Facts are important , best not to get them from stupid people

Yes it looks like there are issues with the production version. Mine is a prototype version, no logo and I have no issues with mine in rain. Looks like something may have changed in the manufacturing process

Only problem I see with the additional "wings" on the main large door is that it means the main door or porch roof cannot be lifted any higher than those wings will allow. I like to go a little higher so rain will run off towards the backside of the tent. These wings might prevent that.
