I swear i found a blue garter in esquimalt on vancover island. We also had all black for a while, and one snake couldn't tell you what it was, but i didn't pick it up. It looked venomous. I've only seen that one once.

The ball python potential is exponential bcuz i m sure in a few yrs Justin will go back and recycle/revive a "dead" gene like Butter, lesser, or pin stripe etc and put it to something "new" like white lace,or zebra or trident etc and make something crazy, purple or weird color never b4 seen snake.

I use to vend poison dart frogs at the Westchester show in New York. I know I sent thousands of little frogs to their death and that knowledge is one of the greatest regrets my life. The pet trade is a HORROR SHOW. No doubt.

Here in the UK there was a guy on the uk reptile forum selling a pair of green snakes and their viv etc. Can’t remember the exact number he was selling em for but it was over £2000 for the pair and the viv. The viv an equipment was worth £100 max. I don’t recall if they sold or he just took them down. Loads of people wanted em but not at that price and they were harassing the guy to drop the price which I felt was kind of wrong. The guy has the right to ask whatever he wants.
