Mike , I've been to Pomona 4 times/long beach between 98-2003 - I plan my vacation to west coast round these swaps & enjoy them. out here in N.Y.C. the best is Carlisle/Hershey/Magungie P.A. all 3hrs + drive from city itself. retired & plan to move to Palm springs within 2 years so I can enjoy the California weather & all the other smaller swaps they have almost every week. P. Springs - I 10 west to Pomona in 1 hr ! Great job again. AAA+++

Most of those cars are advertised on the marketplace or Craigslist. I don't bother going to pomona. Prices are over blown to catch naive people. I found a beautiful 64 cadi convertible all done for way below California prices.

They can be driven regularly, but most are just used for shows

But I've been going to Pomona swap meet since it started and I know you enter through the VW section. Could you start shooting your video from there and move along so we can see some Air cooled bugs. It would be saving you time also. Thanks

I did the VW section first in the last video. Decided to go back to how I used to film Pomona because the analytics showed many viewers skipped over it, which the algorithm didn't like. There is another channel that usually films just the VW section.

Replaced the gas tank, fuel pump, and brake cylinders before rebuilding the carbs. I set the dwell and balanced the carbs and drive around the block for the first time, successfully, the bday before the Swap Meet.

I must of just miss you there! I went also to find parts for my 56 F100 that I need for my truck, but I left with great disappointment!!! Is all Chevy stuff Now. Very little Ford, and definitely No Dodge parts! Pomona swap meet definitely change since I was there 5 years ago. Only impala Morte Carlos, Belair,Bomb cars & early Chevy 50’s trucks! And everything cholo style! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Pomona has always had mostly Chevy stuff as long as I've been going. Hopefully you can find what you need online.

Mon most of those car's and truck's are over priced for what they are. Some look like straight money pits and no way you are going to make your money back. Glad I grew up in the 1980s and 90s when you were able to pick up a classic on a minimum wage job. Then again no one giving old car's and truck's a second look and older folks were happy to sale a none running car in there drive way for $200-1,000 buck's was top dollar back then. Gas was also under a buck a gallon.
