First Pomona Swap Meet of 2022. A little lighter crowd than usual, but some great quality show cars at this one. The weather was picture perfect at the LA County Fairgrounds for a January morning.

Great coverage, Mike ! They sure like their Chevys in Socal and the folks selling cars, there at Pomona are proud of their cars, which is reflected by a Barrett/Jackson price tag influence on quite a few. It was a enjoyable walk-thru.

I just have my Cougar listed. It’s on Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp. I have two guys who seem semi-interested. Neither have asked to talk over the phone and still no one has actually come out to see the car in person. Had a few flakes though.

Pomona prices have been like this for over twenty years. Usually 2-3 times Craigslist/Facebook Marketplace prices.

He dreaming on the convertible mustang for 35k. Not that nice. I sold a fresh concourse 65 convertible for $38,000 and it put that one to shame. People watching to much Barrett Jackson and they think a junk driver is worth decent money .

From my experience, in this video, even though I understand the value of vehicle rarity, the owners of the vehicles that need the most restoration are asking the highest prices--which makes no logical sense.

I showed several Mustangs, Novas, Camaros, Chevelles, two GTOs, and the Corvette section in this video. Plus the ‘68 Cutlass. Pomona tends to draw a large number of low riders, tri-five Chevys, C-10s, and Impalas.
