Still a few tickets left for that one so if you want to come see us on Saturday...pomplamoose.com A bientôt j’espère… :)

It's a love song to Paris. English translation: Beneath the Parisian sky A song flutters away, It was born today In a young man's heart Beneath the Parisian sky Lovers walk about, Their happiness built Upon a tune made just for them Beneath the Pont de Bercy There's a seated philosopher Two musicians and a few onlookers And then people in the thousands Beneath the Parisian sky Will sing into the evening The hymn of the people in love With their old city Near Notre Dame Perhaps trouble's brewing But in "Paname" everything gets worked out A few rays From the summer sky The accordion Of a sailor Hope is blossoming In the Parisian sky Beneath the Parisian sky A joyous river flows That lulls the tramps And beggars to sleep Beneath the Parisian sky God's birds Come from around the world To chat among themselves The Parisian sky Has its own secret For twenty centuries it has been in love With our Île Saint-Louis When she smiles at him He puts on his blue suit When it rains over Paris It's because he's sad When he is jealous Of her millions of lovers He unleashes upon us His roaring thunder But the Parisian sky Is not cruel for long So that he may be forgiven He offers a rainbow lyricstranslate.com

@@Dave-sw2dm Under the Paris Sky (Sous le ciel de Paris - English Transposition) Under the Paris sky Away does a song fly Hum, hum It was born from today In the heart of a guy Under the Paris sky Lovers quietly turn Hum, hum Do their joys magnify On this air made for them The Bercy Bridge under which sits a philosopher Two musicians, some onlookers Then people by clouds Under the Paris sky Hymn of a loving people hum, hum Will be sung until night For its city so old Near Notre Dame Sometimes there's drama. Yes, but in Panam (1) All works out like a charm Just some shy rays From summer sky A sailor guy's Accordion The hope displays Under the Paris sky Under The Paris sky Flows a joyful river That makes sleep at night All tramps and wanderers Under the Paris sky The good Lord's little birds Are landing from worldwide To chat with each other And the sky of Paris Has his (2) secret for him For centuries his love has been For our Île Saint Louis When she smiles at him Puts on him a coat of blue But when it rains in Paris That means he has the blues When he is too jealous Of her million lovers hum, hum He does rumble on us His dazzling thunder But the sky of Paris Is not for long cruel hum, hum To be well forgiven Offers rainbow in rule 1. "Panam" or "Paname" is the nickname given by Parisians to their city 2. I have deliberately used the personal pronouns "he" and "she" to speak of "the sky of Paris" and "L'île Saint Louis" because, in the song, they appear as full characters of the story that tells us this song, and not quite like simple places that one would name just to be geographically located. The song lends them feelings, as if they were real humans, much like how Walt Disney's animals were treated in his animated films. . :) You're welcome
