New sub, great video, truth!!! I fish mostly neighborhood/public high pressured ponds and see other guys out there throwing huge swim baits, crank baits etc., and rarely catching anything and here I am throwing a weightless Zoom finesse worm or a ribbon tail worm and they are always getting bit. Almost every time these other guys ask what I am throwing and I show them, it's no secret, then the next time I see them out there, they are still throwing the same big fast moving baits. I have found that most people don't want to or don't have the patience to fish finesse, old school ways, they want the latest and greatest, fast moving baits that the fish in these public/high pressured ponds have seen a million times. If I'm short on time and want to cover water or if the conditions are right I will I throw faster techniques/lures, of course, but I'll put my money on the weightless finesse worm every time over the other types baits.

That's the only way my dad taught me how to fish bass. Same color has worked no matter what. I really didn't put things together until I got older on why it works so good and in my opinion will out fish any other technique in ponds. I think like you said nobody now days nobody wants to take the time to fish finesse. Nobody does on it KZbin or at least I haven't come across it. It's all about big fast lures because that's what they see. That's what's marketed. It's crazy to me. Trust me I love chatterbaits and would rather fish that all day long then anything else but that doesn't work time in and time out. But going weightless with anything will always catch fish and out fish anything else. All three of my kids caught their first bass on this technique. My son landed his PB this way a 7 pounder. For where I live that's super huge. Keep the technique to yourself and continue to out fish them all. Thanks for sharing you awesome thoughts and opinion. Truly appreciate it. My wife and I live on a stocked 25 acre neighborhood lake. My wife picked out that same worm same color and it truly out fishes everything we have used. We have not tried it weightless. We will try it weightless today. I used a zoom fluke for the first time weightless yesterday and I caught 6 bass in a half hour, all from our dock. Thank you for the video. Not really sure why I ever picked that color probably thought it look cool as a kid. But all these years it's the only Berkley worm color I use in that size. This how me and my dad would fish for years. He never really broke it down besides no weight is needed. Something that will always catch fish. Never really put it together until I got older. But thank God for my dad. Thanks for all the support my friend.

I know _nothing_ about fishing pond water; the AZ lake was deep, normally very clear/clean. (No goose crap) Expect interrogations.😎 Is that _your_ best color for a typical pond? First one is .55 oz perferct for any pond or lake. If you don't like Temu then I would recommend Z-Man Jack Hammer chatterbait .5 oz. They are expenses that's why switched to Temu. Just as good if not better. Need a trailer of some kind. It is a lot lot slower approach to fishing but super effective. Hook really doesn't matter as long as you don't put a weight on it. I go with offset worm hooks. The worm just sits better but not a absolute. I have been using that color for over 30 years and it never fails me. My dad use to use a pumpkin spotted lizard and he use to catch bass the same way. Color really shouldn't matter much just don't get any of the crazy colors they have out there. Just remember you don't want to bring that worm to high in the water. With just those 3 lures you will catch bass. Don't need a whole bag of different lures it gets to confusing on what to throw. Those 3 will catch you bass any time of the year. The only thing you might want is some type of topwater. A zoom paddle frog are awesome and can be used with EWG hook. Or any other type of hollow from works also.
