That Vampiric Tutor in the sideboard is wild! I guess it's used as an extra copy of your best sideboard card in matchups where you really need it? (so it's an extra copy of Sheoldred, Fatal Push, or Tabernacle, at the price of one card?). When I see these counter-intuitive choices it always makes me appreciate the amount of effort the deckbuilder has put into the deck! It's always fun to backward engineer the reason for that choice. Thank you for covering this deck on the channel!

In other videos, you have mentioned that if you are always boarding things in to consider then just being in the main instead. With the prevalence of Lurrus, the fatal pushes in the main seems like a solid bet. Obviously, someone more experienced than myself would know better, but it seems like it could be a worthy consideration.

Thanks for the information at 31:35! I am one of those people who has asked that exact question and it' very nice to know! It makes total sense in a mono-blue deck like Doomsday. I still am surprised that it's worth sacrificing fetchability when playing e.g. a Bayou in a sultai deck and still going with off-color fetches (that can fetch all the blue lands, but not Bayou in case you need it). It just feels to me like more percentages are lost than gained.

You're right that it is only (usually) correct to spread the fetches when it doesn't impact which colours you can get. So in your example the vast majority of players would rather max out on UB and UG fetches before considering adding more. This can happen also in 2 color decks that play both basic lands (for example rescaminator in legacy plays both island and swamp, so it maxes out the polluted deltas before spreading out the other fetches).

In the third game you could have tutored the consult instead of the thoracle and just send it on land #3 like that line would have normaly using the ritual to pay for the peacekeeper and the consult
