First uploaded to my Thousand Yard Stare channel. Link to the bike: www.iscooterglobal.co.uk/products/u2-ebike (Thanks to ISCOOTER for sending me this bike for review and apologies that I've tried to destroy it). Discount code: U2eb(-30£) The motor is 350w, not 500w as stated in this video - sorry for any confusion. Final thoughts. Yes, I know that I called the manufacturer INISWHEEL and not ISINWHEEL - blame dyslexia (which I don't have but for the purpose of this video I identify as dyslexic...) In this video hopefully you will appreciate that I have genuinely used this bike. At the time of filming I'd gone just over 70 miles on it and the later video (linked above) is a 200+ mile review. I never have and never will accept payment for reviews and if something doesn't measure up to my expectations I will not publish a video, I just contact the company who sent it and ask to return it. You will see from the state of the bike in the 200+ mile review (linked above) that this bike has been given quite an unfair thrashing, just as I do with any other bike I own - yet it has held up extremely well. Therefore I have no problem recommending it to anyone wanting a very affordable commuter bike which will perform extremely well for many years under normal conditions. I accept that I'm probably in the 1% of people who rides like a man possessed every time I get on a bike, hence all the broken bones and scars on my body..... I genuinely love this bike and it is a joy to ride. I've seen a few reviews on other channels where the 'reviewer' has had a problem with catching their feet on the front wheel when when turning corners but they are riding using the arch of their feet on the pedals with over half their foot beyond the pedals. I have not had any problems with my feet catching the front wheel, even when turning tight corners at speed as my feet are properly positioned with the ball of my foot over the centre of the pedals instead the arch of my foot being over the pedals - how anyone can ride flat footed is beyond me but if you ride properly the distance between the front wheel and pedals won't be a problem for you (unless you are wearing clown shoes). However.... Not everything has been perfect with this bike and I've had to tighten one of the pedals and headset after the first 2-3 decent rides ..... and ..... that's about it in 200+ miles of riding. Everything else I've had to alter or repair has been down to my brutal treatment of the bike, riding style (or lack thereof) and a bad crash I had on my last ride (which I explain in the 200+ mile review video). Feel free to ask me anything in the comment section and I will answer it to the best of my ability. Thanks for watching and check out the other videos on my channel. If you check out the website link at the top of this comment / video description you will see that ISCOOTER also sell some crazy electric scooters which look awesome and the speed / battery life on some of them is very impressive. @iscooter #iscooter #iscooterU2 #ebike

This Video couldn't have come at a better time as I'm now off the tools and have moved into the parts dept at work and communiting on the push iron, although it's a bit creaky and worn out, not sure if I was going to go down the electric hybrid bike route but interesting to see what they can do

If I had to commute to work I would happily use this bike for that purpose. Even when I went out on it last night (over 20 miles) up in the hills I didn't feel tired or in any extra pain - there is no way I'd be able to ride a 'normal' bike on that route currently since my ribs are broken down my left side. To be honest I've been more uncomfortable driving my car in the last few days.

@@pondguru Pair Play Richard, I used to think differently about electric assist bikes but at the end of the day if they help you out then nothing wrong with that ay, Crikey, did the other guy come off worse? 😂
@pondguru7 ай бұрын
Nope, the other guy just got in his car and drove off. When I regained my breath (and consciousness) he was gone but that's the sad state of society now. Grey Volkswagen Golf just for reference... I am so glad that I have taken steps to insulated myself and immediate family from what is going on and what is to come. It feels great to work in the garden when I know my family will enjoy all the vegetables, fruits and herbs I've been growing and the production is getting better all the time since I've been concentrating on making a 'food forest' kind of set up where anyone with no knowledge of food production can reap the rewards if I die tomorrow (by the way, I've no intention of dying tomorrow, lol)

@@pondguru I'm sorry to hear that Richard, the world's a mess ay, future doesn't look too prosperous ay, you're doing it right for sure, I've made a small start by getting some potatoes growing but be nice to dedicate some time to being more self sufficient.. When im cycling to work, everyone is in such a rush and I'm sure my handle bars have nearly been clipped a few times now, people leave no space for cyclists, and I can understand their attitude towards those that ride three abreast, they might say they hate cyclists but do they really want killing someone on their conscience..
@pondguru7 ай бұрын
Yes, even though I'm a keen cyclist the riding 2-3 abreast issue really bugs me when I'm driving on winding country roads since some of them will not fall into single file to allow cars to pass. I never give them abuse but I see people shouting or tooting a them all the time - 'normal' cyclists are fine and easy to pass so they definitely are no problem. With regard to the state of the world the sad thing is we're surrounded by peace and abundance yet everyone is trained (through education and media) to live in fear with a mindset of scarcity. With that mode of thinking we will never prosper, or share, or experience true happiness. The world will easily support many times more people but it's the distribution of resources which is the problem. I'd love land to be distributed fairly and if everyone had even 2 acres we could transform the world into something beautiful with no reliance on governments. For anyone wanting to live in cities and not work land their 2 acres can be given to someone or a community who wants more than 2 acres. With freedom to work the land and trade freely there would never be such things as food banks or junk food. Maybe I need to go and live with the Amish....

Richard, can you take me fishing again this year, yeah?👍🏻🤣

I was trying to think who I went fishing with last year then realized that it's a virtual thing in videos, lol I've joined the fishing club this year so will definitely be out fishing in the next few days. The resulting videos will be on my Thousand Yard Stare channel.

Why do they always make these bikes look like something that was used in the 1940s...?
@pondguru7 ай бұрын
Probably just to be practical for the intended use (commuting, trips into town etc.). I can imagine that many people now have a problem lifting their leg over a high top tube, hence the step-through design of commuter bikes.

For very lazy people

.......or old people, or people who have previously had leg injuries (e.g. myself who has dislocated both knees, broken many bones etc.) and now need help to get up the hills. Remember, not everyone is fit and fully abled - cycling should be accessible to everyone and it is great to see so many older people cycling now thanks to electric bikes.
