Honestly, get away from defense. Attacks were really good, maby use what you learned from chopping to add some more variation to offensive game...

me. I have no idea why he is playing defensively now. Don't mean to disrespect his effort, but I think even at 70% level of his attacking style, he is still better than doing it defensively.

try short pips chopping its better both for attack and defense

Hey, if you feel like you find a difficult way to combine both offense and defence in a blade just use a very hard FH rubber. A nice setup imo is: Donic Defplay blade JOOLA Dynaryz AGR (or any similar rubber, hard sponge with spinny topsheet is crucial) Butterfly Feint Long 2/ Dawei 388D-1 (long grippy pips with a super soft sponge for maximum spin and dwell time) The way you play right now might be better for an OX long pimple style. You did a lot of lifting, swiping and hitting instead of chopping

Emil just isn't a chopper and should play inverted both sides. Perhaps all is not lost. I'd like to believe there's an element of touch game where he's clearly had some practice at chopping, etc where maybe that'll come in handy every once in a while even with inverted but yeah. This LP chopping thing isn't your style mate.

Emil, you shouldn't have switched to the pips You are an offensive player by nature, its clear as day Not only because of your lack of patience to defend, but also because of your percentage of points won with offense instead of defence You dont even have a bad backhand, so you have no reason to play this way But I still get the fun factor in defending, supported by the fact that you dont play as often and seriously as the otger two
