It's incredible how high of a level people can achieve without noticing what is and isn't working. During the first two games I'm not sure Mika knew Otto was left handed...maybe 3 points played to the backhand during those two games combined?! I love seeing these matches. Keep playing and keep posting. Good luck!

Wow, Otto looks like he's moving a lot better! He was beaten in the service/receive game though, Mika got to open up almost every time and in the end it was just too much to overcome for Otto.

Otto, you're such a good player. Such great technique and reading of the ball. You can force your own game game upon your opponent. I love to watch you play. But unfortunately, your mindset has much room for improvement. Don't you have a mental coach? Would be worth it. Small tricks like telling yourself (and believing) that it's 0:0 in this set, no matter what the real score is... You could also have a teammate analyse your opponent and your winning/losing points more during the match in order to give you hints on a working strategy. I think with just very little improvements, you will win against this (great playing) opponent anytime. As I said: Love to see you all play! Greetings from Austria

YES! Even at this 'high' level they get away with it. We have no chance of it being called at club level. It's not just poor officiating, the authorities couldn't give a money's. Clearly illegal.

Fun fact: since only 8 people play table tennis in Finland, the Finnish Championships starts directly with Quarter Final, and all you need to qualify is to show the passport and a paddle. Also, I believe there's this one dude who's an actual table tennis player, so he doesn't participate and just gets the gold medal 20 years in a row.
