I needed to see the car from the outside! 1. Body roll where it should be. 2. Nose dive drastically reduced. 3. Slow, sloppy response gone. Car is nimble. 4. Driver mod can produce under pressure. Excellent!

Haha thanks! Yea that video from the outside gives a great perspective. Thanks for all your help and suggestions.

@@RinerAutomotive The pleasure is all mine!: The older adult in Omaha and the younger adult in Lincoln that I was mentoring both got new jobs out in the Northwest, and the Seatons were too busy last year and this year to do any improvements to their car, plus I've already helped improve their driver mods of strategy and zen mental preparations, so you're helping me stay validated by living vicariously through your excellent videos!

Ha love it! Well I'm hoping to make the trip to national this year to compete with the big boys. Be great to meet ya someday.

@@RinerAutomotiveIf you go, I’ll definitely go watch you and Seatons, even if it’s only for one day! (6hr round trip) I wish I could still compete but have motion sickness and no short term memory (hoping it’s not early dementia) for memorizing courses, so I just mentor, but oddly I’m a professional musician, not a mechanic or engineer, so I’m jealous of your skills!

Been watching your auto-x videos for a long time but something just dawned on me about certain shots. What's the camera setup over your left shoulder that can shift angles? Are you shooting on like a 360 cam that you can move the shot around in post or something?

It's a GoPro Hero 8 that has a stabilization feature that moves like that during driving. It also has GPS which helps for making the overlays at times.

Are you still running the Brembo diy big brake kit? How is it auto cross with that set up?
@RinerAutomotive5 ай бұрын
I am and it's really good. But honestly doesn't feel any better than the lighter 03-04 Cobra setup I was running. I was expecting that though. I do need to change my master cylinder though to give a slightly firmer pedal.

@@RinerAutomotiveNever know about ponies in the smokies! I love the Severville area too. Have to go next year. My wife has a S650 and I have a SN95 98. I'll keep watching to see what's next! Do you plan on getting an adjustable master cylinder, to tune the brakes in or keep it simple?

This was my first year going, it's an also area and event. I'm going to go from a 15/16" to 1" MC. From the math I did previously I was right in between the two so I figured I would try the 15/16 first since it was already installed. It works great on the street, but a little soft on course.
