I counted 19 logs! Dude, I didn't know the crane could lift two of them and surely, that the machine would be able tae carry all that! This was a pleasant video tae watch! A smooth operator indeed. Never seen the Elk before either, that was cool.

Why transport logs with a forwarder on that kind of road? It looks good enough to handle a logging truck.
@Thedudeabides8037 жыл бұрын
Hard to know what the road looks like ahead, could be a stream, maybe snow melt has made a portion muddy and impassable. I'm sure they would drive the truck there if possible. But you're right, that's a nice road.
@7211woodie6 жыл бұрын
Maybe it´s so easy that there is no way to turn around with a bigrig further down the road.. and that would create a bit of a problem then..
@htg9894 жыл бұрын
@@7211woodie True, but why were they left there then?
@Itapirkanmaa22 жыл бұрын
I would say it's not suitable for trucks, the surface is too soft. A typical 40 tons road in Finland looks like here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmqWh4uDgtWggbc&ab_channel=MrYppy The point is the heavy gravel (it's fine on the surface) and the conduction of rainwater away from the road in the trenches.

@@htg989 the logs are marked on the butt of you look closely i would say they are special order and probably load a wagon himself over in the uk we have truck and cranes but some companies run what we call flats which are timber trailers which they can remove the bolster pins and use the wagon for other duties and the forwarder has to load them

When they burn those logs in a power plant they make enough power for 1500 google searches.
@Tilley-oy7gx7 жыл бұрын
Logs that big are not burnt, they are cut to timber or building logs.
@Jonas-wq4iy7 жыл бұрын
Derpster Wtf, who the hell calculated this?! Google searces on what device? A phone needs about 2W, but that depends on the screen brightness, if you have the lowest brightness it just consumes around 0.5W. But a PC needs between 200W and 600W so your calculation makes absolutely no sense.
