RCBB Traxxas Spartan 3/16" drive shaft install

RC boat bitz have a question, I put on all your upgraded parts for my Spartan. On the transit what is the little brass fitting for . Looks like you hook a hose to it is it for Grace I am curious on the adjustable transit

I’m gonna ask what might be a silly question as I’m new to rc boats, but why are you replacing the shaft to a 3/16 shaft?

You don’t secure teflon to the brass tubing?? It’s not supposed to spin inside brass i thought

the bend in the tube will stop it from spinning
