My question is why did Pontiac make the intake ports different sizes??? What I mean is, from the looks of the intake, cylinders 2/4 are bigger than 8/6 and on the opposite side of the intake the 1/3 is smaller than 5/7. One of the intake ports appears to be almost 50% bigger than its sister port on the same side of the engine. It’s like that on both sides. Just kind of weird, but then again, I’ve never messed with any Pontiacs and so what little bit I’ve seen in the past I just never noticed it before!!! Awesome setup by the way!!!

@jongoin4404 They made to port larger for #5 & 7 because they fire one right after each other. The smaller runners have cylinders that fire more separately. The 2 & 4 port on the head is large also because the right & left heads are exactly the same part number... however the runner for #2 & 4 gets small also
