That was fun. I worked at a detail place for a short period. Lost the transmission to my car just before I walked away so cost me more than I made in that short period but I got to drive stupid in a bunch of early S10 pickups and they would bury the speedo and launch pretty good if you kept the revs up on that tiny v6. That air conditioning machine is a real good score. Very useful for the large fleet you have and family and friends. I finally got a 4 way AC quage set because everything we own now has air.

Like a lot of others are saying. I'd really recommend dying the carpet. Black would be an excellent choice and would look great with the rest of the interior. Its a super cheap thing to do that will make the carpet looks brand new, And you've already got it pulled out of the car already so all the hard work is done. After the dye dries, borrow a drillbrush from the detail guys and give the entire piece of carpet a dry pass or two and it will soften the carpet back to where you won't even be able to tell by touch

Some times it works, pour rust/calcium remover on the rug, let it sit, then take a brush to it. You might have to do it a couple/few times but I have had it remove the rust stains from carpets. We bought a 2001 Aztek brand new and it was our main family vehicle until 2019 with almost 250k on it. Never got anywhere close to that dirty but it was amazing how durable and cleanable everything was. Still miss it since it was the handiest vehicle I've ever had and got about 25mpg on cross country road trips loaded with everything and bikes on the hitch rack. Quick lumber runs were great since the tailgate could stay down separate for longer stuff and 4x8 stuff was no problem.
