Anything's possible with the right amount of $ thrown at a project. You'd have to some how fab up and install a drive shaft, differential, and rear end to convert to rwd. Plus a retune. Plus a bunch of other variable's, if I had to guess. I think it would be easier and less work to just pop the L32 out of your car, and throw it in a 4th gen fbody, than to convert a fwd car to a rwd car.
@kx500afcsupermoto75 жыл бұрын
Theres people doing swaps to these Pontiac and a lot of people are using 4th gen Camaro front clips, mustang 8.8 rear set ups. Find a wrecked 4th gen and a wrecked stang and get to welding. Ill be trying this some point in life

I'm in the process of a full NASCAR style tube-frame conversion on a 2001 GP coupe, RWD, 4 speed trans, singe seat, N/A V8 pushing about 540hp. It has been a slow project and has a long way to go, but it's gonna be a monster when it's done... in a few more years I guess... Budget and time will always be the biggest factors if you decide to take on a similar project.

The problem is two to have really pushed it. 1. Those tires shouldn't all be the same size or height to maximize the power and torque steer, seeing it doesn't have the Advantage of Advanced traction control systems supported by one of the world's leading companies, not too mention baby Zilla is in your next lane over. 2. The ride height and angle could use some love. It should be lowered in the front and tweaked ever so right pass. side up 👆 a lil bit more and drv side lower. And the rear shoul have pass side most stiff and drv side firm. But that angle 📐 is important. 🌬↘️⤵️🏎⤴️🎢
