Get some Buick Lucerne v8 front rotors they don't have that dip on the inside of the rotor and you will have more contact area for the pads

@@SalemDoyle yes. It's also the same caliper used on the Camaro SS but the caliper has Chevy casted instead of the V painted

@@SalemDoyle I just went back to my notes. 2010 Chevy SS calipers (brembos) and a 2005 Ford mustang gt500 rotors. All you need additionally is the bushing kit from zzp that adapts that adapts the 12mm bolt to fit through the 14mm knuckle hole found in w-body. Then longer brake hoses. These calipers are very big compared to factory. The master cylinder can keep up but many have found that there's slight deadzone in the pedal at first. Sounds like you're experiencing that with yours. To fix it you can swap your mc with one from a 2010 Impala limited. It has to be a limited as it was the carry over last w-body's built. They have a slighty larger bore and pushes more fluid. Also swap the brake pedal assembly with it.

There is no 2005 GT500. 2007 was the first year it was brought back.

IMPORTANT: These pads won't last as long as on the ATS because they're shaved. You can see they are thinner than most new pads. I put together this exact kit by chance. Had 2013 ATS Brembos and bought the cool and large GXP rotors. The rotors are really thick. I had to shave down the pads to make them fit. I also put GXP FRONT rotors on the rear to match with 2009-2016 CTS rear Brembos... I had to make custom brackets for them and no parking brakes anymore.

I have an 04 Pontiac grand prix GTP comp G with the aluminum 17inch wheels. Do you think these calipers will fit with my wheels? Also would you recommend these 4 pistons over my gxp dual piston brakes that I currently have? I have a tighter pulley with a ZZP tune and headers with some other performance goodies so I want to stop just as fast as I can go!

You have any squealing issues mine was fine at first then after a few stops it started squealing really loud. I bleed the calipers again and they are still squealing feels like a waste of money at this point may have to put the old gxp calipers back on. I have even gaps so I'm not sure way it is doing this.... Any suggestions are welcome. I put the cadillac 2013 brembo rubber lines on the only difference... I replaced my wheel hubs because they were rusted in

Hey Salem I need help man I’ve looked all over KZbin and foums and any other place you could think of for a video to show how to properly take apart the dash on a 2005 Grand Prix gtp so I can pull out my heads up display fix it and put it back in but everyone smashes out the cover of the hud and the dash do you think you could make a proper video since no one else will

This is totally off subject but since grand prix is your specialty I had my crankshaft position sensor changed after I picked it up it runs really rough like it has a misfire it's throwing a 336code but it a new sensor why would it be throwing this code and running the way it is....help me out
