Agreed! I was about 8 or 9 and I'm soon to turn 35 and this theme tune still sends chills down my spine :) so alien and yet so pumping :) Jenova was a truly terrifying foe, and I'm glad the remake has brought that back :)

This is already among my handful of favourite takes on JENOVA. The harmonies, countermelodies and instrumentation really add to and accentuate many of the good qualities from the original. And the very fleshed out Sephiroth leitmotif is perfect, especially when JENOVA's signature descending arpeggio plays alongside.

I've heard a fair number of good remixes of "J-E-N-O-V-A" over the years but this one has hit the top slot, it keeps the energy & otherworldly feel of the original in a way that IMO even the official remake couldn't achieve, and the snippet of "Birth of a God" was a very nice touch.

Really like that you gave enough presence of that pounding bass line, to stand out, but not overpower the main melody. Hearing this reminds me of how menacing the song when your party fights Jenova. Great job with this revisit!

They add that in to the remake. Also look for how the add in the main theme of FF7 into the new One Winged Angel to add a moment of hope near the end.

An ex-Soldier... Infused in Mako and Jenova cells... That defites their own mother because he already knows she is a threat to himself and of an entire planet... He also knows that their brother (in-arms, also) needs to be distroyed or the entire Universe may just vanish with him if he stays alive, forever... Or so he thinks so...
