Damn. Well, worst comes to worst, perhaps they can all pile through the portal when it opens. Sunset will certainly get a shock when ponies, Griffiths and all manner of Equestrian inhabitants realise how she got there and force their way into a foreign realm just to survive. It seems likely that Twilight already has the solution- The same spell she used on the queens and pawns. The problem is the magical energy required, not a lack of research. But if the enchantment, or something similar, was already performed on Celestia and Luna at one point, it seems likely that it could be done again.

@@zitro4907 the author explained it that celestia messed up her last movement of the sun before she died. The enchantment they were using to keep the sun and moon in check collapsed due to this, meaning luna cannot control them anymore, so the sun _is_ coming for equestria.

Ironic that this pops up after listening to Sanctity of Life. I see twilight never got over the "princesses are gods and thus perfect" mentality. Sadly, I can absolutely see her doing this. I just....seeing how Mrs. Cake is left to die.. Harmony has died along with hope. At first I thought, "why not use teleportation to help?!" but then I realize that this is likely unicorn twilight instead of alicorn twilight. In season 1-3 her teleportation leaves her worn out even if it's just her and spike. Now, consider the fact she's low on food, water, and weak. Even if she could do so, the ruine system goes down because it's meant to work on twilights magic. So again, that would be as helpful as using telekinesis.

So Celestia dying is basically she can't keep the Sun in the sky and away from Equestria now that she's gone so basically with nobody to control the Giant star of heated gas is that basically it's heading towards about to collide with the world destroying pretty much everybody... If I'm correct that does sound pretty damn gruesome.. this is honestly my second time listening to it and it makes a lot more sense now... She always say water is precious but you can't have water if it's too hot all that will turn into steam..

No, the world in MLP is clearly not the same as how it works in OUR real life. Meaning the sun and moon don't work like our sun and moon does in real life. Clearly, as explained in the show, the sun and moon are raised and set magically by Celestia and Luna. That's it. It, again, clearly isn't like our world. So..
