The shading can go with the flufifer and longer hair also. I recommend using the longer one, that hides the eyes i guess

It's honestly your choice! The gradient from an example: Blond to blue, basically, just make the gradient and then either way make the ends really dark or light dark! The highlight can be only the outlines! Hope this helped.
