We now have the best episode of any show ever, just for the sole fact that it is about us. I have to say, I don't mind the fan creation, but I love the idea of Vinyl being mute and still being a DJ. She does a lot of miming and pointing for someone who is perfectly capable of speech. She never spoke in Rainbow Rocks either, or in her short. I think there's wonderful potential for story in that concept, as she doesn't seem to be letting it hold her back. Did she have to over come an sudden onset of a disability, or was she born that way? Also, fan theory that Octy is her sister and one of them was adopted.

Chilly Cave If two Doctors weren't enough, there's a third: the Doc from "Back to the Future" movie (Emmet Latro Brown). The "Great wickering stallions!" catchphrase is very similar to Doc Brown's "Great Scott!". And in the Doctor's lab there's some equipment which resembles some of Doc Brown's inventions: the helmet Derpy wears, with sticks and slinky wires attached to it, is one example. Another one might be a strange-looking device in the background: basically a frame with a bunch of wires passing through it: dunno why, but it reminds me the Flux Capacitor. (Don't hold me on that last one though, it might be a coincidence.)

Doc (Doctor Whooves) makes references that he's studied science his whole life, centuries really, and he had time travel just about cracked. Come to find out there's a spell for it... who knew? (great pun). Great Whickering Stallions, his bow tie is one doctor, later he's wearing Baker's scarf, and using Alonze!... And at the wedding he's sitting with Rose Luck, who he's been with in the background through many many episodes. Lyra-Bon shipping! Again, a pair of ponies we've seen in the backgrounds, sitting on benches all over ponyville, chatting and eating lunch. And yes, BonBon's original Hasbro name was Sweetie Drops. It's confirmed, Octavia and DJ Pon-3 (Vinyl Scratch) live together! Octavia has a 'British' accent. Vinyl still does not talk... but Hasbro has said she may be Mute, and expresses herself in her music. Just like they have said Scootaloo will never fly due to a birth defect. Besides, if anyone voiced Vinyl other than Jessi Nowacking, the fans would burn down the town. Pinkie Pie is the most random, over energetic pony in history... kinda fun to find out that the laid back Gummie Gator is an existentialist. Oh, confirmed... vinyl does have her own 'bass canon' in ponyville. so many many call backs, most of the ponies on the bass canon ride to town hall were the stallions from Hearts and Hooves Day episode. The Big Libowski ponies, hayseed turnip truck, thunderlane, and others. Just my two cents worth, the Frank Pony

Ugh I just saw a chat reaction to the episode and was full of negatives, I need someone positive to lighten up the mood, I know I can count on you Ranger. Even I that don't really like that much the fan pandering, think that this episode was very well done, it goes on my top 10.
