I like to put all my offensive lineman at one position so everyone gets a boost when drafted. At the position change stage just change everyone to LT and empty for all other o line positions..I do the same for DE, LB and safety..this ensures all rostered players on line, dline, lb and safety get the drafted bonus

It doesnt lock you out of that? In position changes I try to make all my TE’s into LT but it always makes me keep a minimum of 3 TE

@ it does not lock you out for OL..for some reason if the last OL is a true freshman it won’t let you change positions. But as long as the last OL is not a true freshman, you can leave all OL empty except one position in the position change screen

The improviser QBs grow quick too. I had elite dev RS Jr who never saw the field till that season be a 98 overall after off season training, i forced the senior qb to transfer who only was become an 87.

Improvisers grow very quick, just not as quick as field generals.

My only way I’ve noticed is to have to pay for the program builder discount on shared/same like archetype part (smh takes level 3 of the one part so kinda f*** some part of your but then the cpu seems to make them Take it. Some serious misinformation in this video. I've red shirted elite Dev trait guys. Recruited two receiving backs. One Dev and one star. The star went up to 96 speed as a red shirt freshman. Played him all four years. Ended up a 96 OVR. The other elite Dev trait rb never went past 90 speed. He may have had 80 carries his entire career. He ended up 99 overall and was drafted higher. Some guys don't have to play to develop.

I basically said archetype is the most important thing and then downplayed the impact of she traits…… my take on archetypes is basically that you don’t need to play to grow them, some just build on there own lol…. It sounds like we are on the same page here.

Have you tried to switch guys out of position then back in on position changes day? It unlocks all of their physical abilities they can so that their off season training boost is strictly towards attributes and the abilities are already maxed to what they can be. Ive started doing this but have ran into a problem with some guys where occasionally it changes their archetype when I move them back

Yeah he mentioned this WAY back. You have to keep WRs with the TEs or it may break your player. I found that it can be good if a guy is capped. I turned a vertical TE into a blocker that way and a power RB into elusive and it uncapped them. Don’t do it with freshmen though; their OVR crashes and you have to position swap them the following year to get it back (idk if all of it comes back but they’re usable again)

I have a question. I was wondering if you could attempt stacking players in one position to increase the amount of 1-3 round draft pick boosts you get. For example, having all your linebackers be MLBs. All defensive backs to be corner backs and move them around on your depth chart. If they are all stacked in one position, they will theoretically get the boost. Do you think this will help to increase team overall?

I have a scambler QB that's a redshirt freshman ovr 86 that I been starting and he a 5 star Dev triat elite and that is not even hardly cap so when the off season training come he should go up to a 90 plus Ovr. Plus he also won best Quarterback.

I’d try to get one that is a mix of recruiter and motivator, which means it won’t matter. But either way, it doesn’t matter where you apply them.

Scheme fit is best ...If you recruit the best isn't as good as scheme fit. If you play a player in a scheme that don't fit he want build up as fast.

Does anyone know a way to earn more points for your defensive backs, I know that playing them on offense and putting up big stats does nothing for their points. While I could run pass and catch with my QB WR or RB and earn 5 points *on normal xp and 10 points on 200 % xp. I wish they jus that had a list of things you can do to earn points.

True however you can find qb’s uncapped, currently my field general is starting his third year has a 97 speed and is 89 overall. I usually draft a gem four/five star qb ever year and let them sit for two years before playing, this allows them time to build.

It’s been a few instances where you get an elite scrambling qb that is already capped out at elusiveness and quickness. So after the health caps out, it’s starts to hit power and accuracy. I had a scrambling ab get to a 91 overall. But that’s literally the highest and it was one time lol

Field generals don’t do it for me and they usually don’t have the field general mental ability. Scramblers I’ve recruited have it at least 6/10 times a the only QBs I’ve seen with it platinum was a scrambler and an improviser.

You regularly say offseason player progression has nothing to do with Dev trait, i have tested it 3 different seasons and on ave Elite always gets the biggest overall jump, Star 2nd highest, Impact 3rd and Normal the lowest ave development. Its about an ave of 4.5 overall points between Elite and Normal. It isnt full proof. Sometimes a normal gets a huge gain and a Elite no gain but on average dev trait does matter for offseason player progression
