It's certainly a very special weapon. I'm still struggling to understand it but it's hella fun!

I mostly freeflow...but that almost requires a deep understanding of the game.

@@PooferLlama Cool, I can see that so you don't repeat the same moves and combo's. You mix it up very well. Really smooth and beautiful.

This weapon is broken for how easily it applies elements. You can get confusion on an enemy by pressing two attacks even without ailment augmentation. So it is my go to secondary weapon, and for my playstyle it makes yokai a bunch of jokes compared to using tonfas for confusion. Btw I am happy to do 1v1 missions on DotD. And Kurama sword dance is crazy good as well for Ki and overall damage.

yeah...it's pretty crazy...insane anima gain and power from dragon dance alone.

@@PooferLlama along with Twin Phoenix, I use the original version of that skill (not the combo version) and do water for low stance, lightning for mid, fire for high and then I use them accordingly and immediately get confusion and just beat the hell out of yokai and humans alike. Like said; without ailment augmentation either.

Dear PooferLlama, I'm looking for advice. I've beaten both Nioh 1 and 2 on WOTS and progressing through WOTD on Nioh 2. I've always just used the ax while specializing in spin-to-win builds. While fun to beyblade on mobs of enemies, it is starting to get boring. I've tried other weapons, but keep coming back to the ax. If I wanted to start playing like this with all these sick combos, what would you recommend focusing on? I've always relied heavily on skills and do only few stance changes. Any weapons or tactics you recommend practicing?

First, I would recommend lowering your damage output so that you are forced to experiment to keep things fresh. Level 1 weapons work really well on Dream of the Strong for Nioh 2. Also, this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2fSmGiEZdafpLs is second to none when it comes to informing players how to play on a more advanced level. I 100% recommend that video and the associated channel.
