For us that grew up in the 2000’s, Wipeout was king! Not just the video game, but the tv series. You couldn’t wait for summer to come and gather all your friends around the TV and constantly laugh at competitors failing miserably. Such fun times!

Oh my god me and my cousins would fiend over this game when we were in high school! Our favorite part was getting to the trampoline part of the final stage. If you bounce back and forth without progressing, your characters jump will infinitely increase to the point they disappear from the screen for periods of time! Our favorite part was seeing who could get the highest xD that, and blasting each other with balls playing multiplayer

Thanks to Poof I just caved and bought a Wii with 10 games included. It came with Wipeout 2 and 3 which I’ve yet to try. My Wii arrived this past Saturday and I’ve been raging at Wii Sports Resort bowling. Man, I loved this game as a kid, I had no idea it was so popular, that makes me happy. Those controls and ragdoll physics are so broken that it’s still hilarious.
