Call me old school but IMO its salt. I was not until the widespread use of salt cells that all of the sudden pool chemistry became so debatable. If it works dont fix it and its always best to keep things as simple as possible and that's not a salt cell. That is especially true for the pool owner that is trying to maintain their own pool

How do I measure 50ppm of borax?..30k pool size. I balance my pool almost everyday..my alkalinity is always low

I think I found my answer…I have a self cleaning pool that uses rotating heads that create turbulence hence the high PH.. they go on 2 hrs or more per day…. I listen to the video again and the light went on…thanks
