Pool Factory Semi-inground Pool Install (Start to Finish)

We installed a pool factory 15’x 26’x 54 above ground pool. This is the Saltwater LX oval pool. It took us about 5 days to build and was totally worth it compared to paying $50k dollars for a new in-ground pool.

Great job, that was amazing to watch. I’m going through the same process 18x33 pool. unfortunately I had to build up a gravel base, I hit hard pan 18 inches down. After watching this looks like I will smooth out sand after the side wall is rolled out. Thanks for sharing.

Pool is holding up great. A little over a year now since we’ve installed it and haven’t had any issues. Can’t beat the convenience of a pool in your yard and paying a fraction of the price of a full in ground pool.

Hi. We are about to start installing a similar pool from the pool factory. 15x26x54. We have a question about the panel you put on the floor. How has it been and how’s it working out for you now? Have you noticed a difference? My husband is concerned about jumping on it. Does it dent down or anything?

It’s working out good. While I don’t have anything to compare it to (I’ve never been in a pool with a sand base), I’m happy with my decision to put the foam panels on top of the sand before putting the pool liner up. Yes, the surface is slightly bumpy due to kids jumping into the pool and their feet hitting the foam but it’s nothing crazy. I would assume even with a sand base there would be little divots/bumps also.

No worries. Lol So the black felt I put over the foam panels on the floor I ended up removing because it was suck a hassle trying to keep it flat underneath the liner. It kept bunching up and causing little wrinkle mounds. The foam for the wall I got from thepoolfactory.com. If you type “pool wall foam” in the search bar it’ll pop up.

@@716truth7 no, I do not install pools for others. This will probably be the first and last pool I install. It was great, saved a lot of money, and I learned a lot, but it was very time consuming and laborious. Plus it didn’t help that we did it during the hottest part of summer in AZ. Lol
