I wanted to do this type of video for quite a while now. No fancy effects and animations, just me talking to you and explaining a certain topic. For me it was really refreshing to not care about audience retention and fast paced content with as much information in as little time as possible. Did you still like it? And should I do more of this on other topics where this style fits?

I found this very helpful, especially when you mentioned that you shouldn't decelerate on the shot and trust the stroke. Even if it's not the topic of the video, that's exactly the mistake I would probably make on that type of shot so it's nice to get your feedback on what you feel before taking a shot. Thanks!

In the world of marksmanship, there is a popular phrase - “aim small, miss small.” This applies in pool as well and it's cool to see you utilizing that philosophy and teaching it

I truly believe that you have the best pool Utube videos. Please never stop. In the early 2000's I was a 7 in the A.P.A. I only played pool a handful of times in 15 years. Rejoined the A.P.A. and they put me at a 6. After a couple months I am now a 5. For one I never would have thought they would ever reduce the pocket sizes with these Diamond tables. Next it took me all this time to realize that I have been also using a stick my step dad gave me. And I never thought to measure the diameter of the tip. It has a 11 mm tip! Almost a Snooker tip. Besides getting a 13mm tip, not hitting the cue as hard and practice. Is there any other recommendations that you can think of to give me? Thanks my guy

Something this immediately reinforced for me is maintaining the correct side of the object ball where you can keep kicking the cue off the long rails to get the cue in place for the next shot. I find in run outs that aren't this obvious I don't set a specific enough target area and sort of relax into a "as long as you can make your next ball it's fine" sort of mentality, but if you end up on the wrong side you either need to use a ton of backspin or follow and rely on some 2-3 rail sort of set up for the next shot. That's a great drill overall, and probably tougher than meets the eye.

So for me the most important part I got from this is that you are using a stun shot as your basis. First see what stun does. That's the low hit. If you need more angle, open the up with outside. I'm assuming that how low/hard you hit is so that you accomplish stun considering how far away you are And how for to travel afterwards. So to correct the ob path for the outside spin. Aim a little thin? What kind of english are you using back/front/blend? I get a bit mixed up if I aim to compensate, then move cue for english, then am left with what am I actually aiming for now that the cue is angled.

These are some of my favorite shots to play and I completely agree with you on what you're saying except for one minor detail. Is this really "natural position" when you're manipulating the cueball to go where you want. With that said, I would play these shots exactly the way you are, but I didn't think that was "natural shape". Anyways, I love your content and really appreciate the time you put into providing such great production value.

If you're hitting right or left of center, then you may be throwing the cue ball off of the straight line you are aiming thru. The harder you hit, the more the cue ball is thrown off that line
