Jokes aside, I don't consider any of them 'sharking'... 1. Bad pool etiquette going into/through a shooter's sight line 2. Old school banter, if it bothers you, you're not focusing and/or confident enough 3. Inner monologue, we all have one... make it say better things to you 4. Silliness at best, at worst a night in jail or a lifetime STD Sharking to me was and will always be a player's ability to maximize profit from a hall of gambling shooters, by being just good enough to make the right shots at the right time, without getting into a fight or banned from a place... thoughts?...~~Just me, RD

@@poolhub89 pool sharking may be described as something else on Google and the internet, however, the game of pool and likely the associated sharking, (synonymous with hustling), has been around for over half a millennia, while google has been around for about 25 years... I am not overly interested in giving examples of how to be a hustler, (shark) in pool...my original comment explains it fairly well...

Like many words, 'sharking' has numerous meanings. I agree that that sharking is associated with hustling pool for monetary value. But it is also interchangeable with distracting/negatively influencing your opponent as my video demonstrates.

Lol on the last one! Years ago used to play a league with some all ladies teams. It was more for fun than serious but yes, they were awesomely nasty. Buttons on blouses coming undone, shirts being hiked up and standing in your shot line. Fond memories for an old guy in his seventies now.

Definitely all sharking methods, including the last one!! 🤣😂😋 I know there are some that will dress provocatively for matches to distract... I guess if it works...there are several others that I can add, such as not racking tightly, rolling the rack back and forth multiple times to build up static friction in the rack, etc... Good subject matter Todd!!
