Pool SWG and Filter Update - Is It Worth It?

An update from the new equipment install. Was it worth it to convert to salt water and a new cartridge filter?

Thanks, these videos are very helpful. I'm having a vinyl liner pool installed now and going with the heater and the salt from the jump. Next video you do maybe include some night shots. Would like to see how the lighting thing works, as I'm getting that too. -Jeff

Can do. The nights are growing colder here in PA. Slowly. Not much night swimming going on. Honestly, the lighting is not as bright as I thought it would be. Partly due to the fact we have a dark liner. If the liner was a lighter color I think they would be brighter.

Great videos, thank you. I DIYed my vinyl pool during the summer of Covid (2020) after my pool "consultant" backed out on me! Oh the things we could discuss! Did/do you have any worries about corrosion on your steel walls from the salt?

Yeah, COVID. What a treat. I did have some concerns. But, everything I have read said if the pool is bonded correctly and maintained it shouldn't be a problem. Time will tell. The sacrificial anode is there for that purpose. Time will tell I suppose....
