I hope you have oriented them that the whole island of Samar was directly hit by typhoon Haiyan and it will take years to recover. I love Philippines, I have been to so many places there in my 17 day stay there in July, the only thing that killed me there is the hot weather, I was literally melting there....even though my father is of Palestinian origin, I still couldnt get used to hot weather there.

When I first thought of foreigners visiting Philippines, I always assume that they just go to travel destinations like boracay, Palawan and many more..
