Philippines GIANT SEAFOOD (Lobster, Crayfish and Forest Home in Eastern Samar!)

THIS PROVINCE OF THE PHILIPPINES HAS GIANT SEAFOOD!
I have never seen tiger lobsters this large, or river crayfish (ulang) anywhere near this size!
First we travel to the highlands of Borongan, the capital of Eastern Samar, and a place called Ilawod Adventure Park which has some awesomely tasteful native huts to stay in! And the size of their sea(?)food is something I've never seen before in freshwater! Truly sensational!
From here to Sulat, where fish smoking doesn't quite go to plan, but we have some pudpud (fish pancakes) to bring with us to Oras - before checking out the lobster culture here, we are heading to the market that's right beside the river!
All works out well in the end!

Great episode of Eastern Samar KD. The people of Oras really look after their waterways and care for their marine environment. It's no wonder they can produce nice seafood like that, especially the lobster.

Maayong Bungtag, Kumander! Ilawad Adventure Park looked like an incredible place to stay. What you've shown makes me want to go there one day, even if it does have mosquitoes.🦟 11:15 Those are the most luxurious accommodations I've ever seen you stay in on your travels around the Philippines. Very nice! How do the lobsters in Oras taste? I'm accustomed to Maine lobsters, which have a sweet flavor, not to mention claws. I always feel like I'm getting short changed when I have a lobster without claws like the slipper lobsters in Hawaii. Haha!
