For your traps - make a little bag out of 4-6 inch squares of gutter mesh and zip ties. Wire it to the centre of the trap to stop the bait blowing up against one side in the current, that way the fish MUST come inside for a feed. The TEMU trap should have a weight (2-3oz) in the bottom to keep it down in the water and/or a float on the line at the top to keep it off the bottom. Fishing live shrimp, you can also head-hook them where the spine comes out of the head. I love using a rig just lIke Augie has, with a live millet/whiting/herring about as big as your thumb.
