PoolRx+ is a simple way to keep your pool algae-free all season long. Make sure that you choose the correct size PoolRx+ unit to make the treatment effective. You can place it either in your skimmer or pump basket. When inserting the unit, run your pool for 3-4 hours. Then, run the standard cycle to get at least one complete water cycle from the pool, into the filter, and back into the pool again. The PoolRx+ unit should last 4-6 months.
PoolRx+ is also ideal for a saltwater pool. It will extend the life of your salt cell as you run the system at a lower output, while PoolRx+ is present in the pool, typically 50% less output. PoolRx+ minerals also include a de-scaler that will prevent scale from attaching to the salt cell, meaning less cell cleaning is needed. Also, since it generates less, the pH won't rise as high, requiring less acid added to the pool.

Wow. I added poolrx in May... Zero algea. I normally have algae issues in the summer. Stuff works incredibly well. I also reduced my chlorine usage by 70%. I still haven't even backwashed because the pressure gauge hasn't gone up at all...

I'm afraid to try this since I get black metal staining spots (I use vitamin C tablets to remove them) in my pool.

You can remove any existing copper with a Culator 4.0 and a metal sequestering agent. Then use this safely.

Those are good, but it’s just a copper pipe with copper sulfate which is very inexpensive to make yourself

I live in central fl my pool is 12,000 gallons we have salt, definitely see black algea forming on walls how can i get rid of it?

PoolRX will take it off over the course of a month. If you want to remove it faster try one of those 3" trichlor tablet holders and rub the tablet over the black algae the chlorine residue it leaves will kill it. Swimables Algae Gone Swimming Pool Tablet Holder

I asked this on an older video of yours. I’m about to open my pool in NYS and was wondering could I just drop this in my pump basket with chlorine tablets in my skimmer or should I still get my water tested and put in the required chems to get everything normal first?

You can use this when opening your pool. It will help kill any algae that grew under the cover.

What about areas with shorter pool seasons. My pool is 22,000 gallons in northern Wisconsin with 4 month season. Blue or Black?

Blue they last about 3 months or so the blue covers up to 20000 gallon so it should be enough of a concentration stiĺl

One a season will probably do you because it's colder there so it won't wear out as fast as down here in tx

I used pool RX booster I put it in the filter basket once I turn the pump on it all went into the sand filter now my pool is completely blue... Few weeks later seems to be looking good I don't think I used the RX booster the right way or did I?

I've seen a blue tint before with the booster but it should wear off. Maybe next time dillute it in a 5 gallon bucket first.
