I am a single female traveler, wandering the USA in my 2014 Phoenix Cruiser with my beautiful mixed breed dog Jazzy. Living life on the road for 365 days a year, I find joy in the company of wonderful friends and the breathtaking sights our country offers.
Whether it's the tranquility of a quiet sunrise or the camaraderie of nomadic friendships, each moment is a cherished chapter.
I usually choose the road less traveled, often dry camping without services. My electrical needs are met by solar power, harnessing the sun's energy to charge my house batteries.

Storrie Lake is absolutely beautiful and a nice place to camp. The prices are soon to go up considerably so I hope they begin to do a better job with maintenance for future camping customers. :):)

A survival shower can be a good thing! I have the means to shower when needed. I simply wanted to let others know they might not get what they are expecting at this campground. As I showed in the video, the website for Storrie Lake is now updated with the closures.

@@lisaroth7526 lol. It wasn't too bad, just not what was advertised. However, after they implement a major increase in camping fees next year, I have a feeling a lot of people will be quite upset if there aren't much needed repairs and maintenance done.

@@nancymedeiros5268 actually the park manager/ranger is a very nice fellow. He seemed to be trying to do the best he could with the resources available to him. He listened to suggestions and worked to make some changes. The NM State Park system plans to have major fee increases in the near future and I was just feeling like they need to do some much needed maintenance before implementing the fee increases.

That's certainly a great idea!! I do think that when you pay for a campsite, the facilities should be clean and stocked. Most of the time I boondock with no facilities and have no expectations.
