Once again you have clearly defined what the “ best Florida fishing/diving channel “ looks like. But more than that, it’s your wonderfully real interaction with each other in gorgeous places that being peace and escape to so many devoted fans. I happily discovered this latest video last night and while watching… my wife, then my kids and then my grandson joined me and moved it so much, we watched your 2022 holiday summary again. In the years since you have started up your channel I have never missed one and none have been less than excellent. You always take me home to the paradise I grew up in. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Clay and Stephanie. You are Florida’s best ambassadors. 👍

Hope you have fun on your groovy little vacation, I love the tent set-up on the boat, very trick, I might have to try that with my little tinny one of these days. Really connected with your message at the end and wiser people than I am have also said that it's very hard to make memories while lounging in a recliner, it seems funny to say this to people but sometimes you just have to get outside and breath the air, clear your mind of all the chaos life swamps us with and pretty soon you'll feel better and maybe go camping or fishing, whatever your inspiration leads you to do!! I do need to mention how ridiculously stunning some of those shots were, no horizon, the fog,...all of it was amazing!! What a great start to 2023's adventures, and as always thank-you for taking us along with you!! My AVAIL Fleece lined Hoodie has been working really well during our ice fishing exploits, cannot say enough good things about it, everyone needs one of these in their wardrobe arsenal!! Take care - Dave

I'm back watching your videos after a short break away. You guys look great and congrats on the boat. My husband and I are fishing down here in Key West for the past couple months. So beautiful here and lots of great fishing. We don't have a boat, but the mutton snapper, mangrove snapper, permit and grouper are here and fun to catch. We are having a great fishing season. Hard work, but so much fun. Fishing is fishing and if we catch nothing there is a bar to rest up and share stories of the one that got away. Wishing you both and all the viewers all the best for 2023.

My buddy and I first started going there in the late 80s. We first stayed at the Rod and Gun club in Everglades City and rented a pontoon boat out of Port of the Islands and loved it so much we started going there multiple times a year and camping and fishing inside and outside the the park. Commonly called the 10,000 islands because of the thousands of mangrove islands. Even if we didn't catch anything we didn't care because it was so islotated and beautiful. It truly is one of the most unique fishing spots in the world because without ever getting out of your boat, if you have a gheenue like we had or a flats boat, you could start in the morning in the backcountry rivers fishing for fresh water bass and slowly move out towards the gulf catcatching Redfish, Snapper, Grouper, Trout, countles fish and end up in the gulf catching 30lb Cobia. A little bit to make one jealous. We we started we paid $4.00/lb for Stone Crab.

Not sure why I reply to popular KZbin channels/creators and I often don’t however I suppose there’s a chance that you’ll actually see this. Just want to encourage you because you’re doing what many…myself included have quite literally dreamed of doing for my entire life. I grew up with very little, drove 1.5hrs or so to Galveston as a high school and later returning from college kid and I did so every chance I got. I had exactly one decent rod/reel that I worked and saved up for and also became a member of GCCA when their mission was to save and restore the redfish fishery that had taken a threatening blow due to the new and popular recipe out of New Orleans- blackened redfish. I’ll never forget, after leaving at 3am to catch the sunrise at St Louis Pass meeting an “old salt” who noticed my GCCA hat. Wading in waste deep water on the bay side of the pass, wearing cutoff jeans and a few lures dangling from my hat with an empty float stringer trailing he remarked that he was proud that I as such a young man’s would support their efforts. I literally went to sleep every night dreaming of what it would feel like having a house on the coast, maybe a bay boat and an offshore boat too. I knew that to accomplish this dream would probably require winning 19:25 the lottery but I still fell asleep for decades with this dream in mind. All these years later I’ve been blessed to have built a moderately successful business and we recently bought a house on the forgotten coast, boat and all. The part of the dream that has yet no happen is actually using it…my businesses are 1000+ miles away in TX and I don’t know how I could pull off spending much more than a week or two down there. Family, kids and obligations prevent us from getting down there much at all so the house stays rented and the boat sits in dry storage. Time marches on, thank you for sharing your adventures…experiences that most of us can still and may always only dream about. I appreciate and enjoy watching you two do all of the same things that I dream of even today. There will come a time that you and I cannot physically do the things we dream of so I’m proud of you for living and sharing your lives and experiences. It provides ideas and inspiration and for some, perhaps including me, may be as close as we will ever get to actually doing most or any of it. Paused to share my thoughts, hope it’s an affirmation and encouragement to keep doing and keep sharing. God bless you guys; He clearly already has and I look forward to finishing this and watching more going forward. Perhaps you guys have or will inspire me or someone else to the point of action but at the very least we are able to sort of experience this through sort of with you. And who knows? Perhaps life will put us in each others path out on the water or in a secluded bay somewhere someday. -Kevin Martin Woodward, OK

Liked the video although reference multiple times to our lovely Gulf side as dirty kinda sucked. Murkey better word? Remember, we just survived Hurricane Ian September 28. We're all struggling with water conditions! Red tide has been a downer. Hope y'all enjoyed your trip!

Great Video! We were out on the west coast of florida and noticed 2 manatee swimming by our boat and a huge cobia was swimming with them. The cobia kept circling the boat and we tried to catch it but it wasn't interested in our bait. It had to be 50 lbs or larger. I thought it was a large nurse shark at first. lol
