Someone might've pointed this out in the comments already, but I think that line about Ragatha not being genuine is because she's a big people pleaser. In this episode she says to Jax "I kind of hate you, but I don't want you to hate me. Is that weird?", which basically shows that even if she doesn't like someone she still wants to please them in a way. So Gangle sees that and questions wether Ragatha actually cares about her in the first place, specially right after Ragatha says to her face that she's annoying with her happy mask. It's an interesting thing to note about her character.

I've been suffering from depression for a long time. What Gangle said about Ragatha might be BECAUSE of her depression. She might find it difficult to see other people as genuinely liking her AND being happy in her presence. I don't know if I explained that well. I was genuinely surprised when my sibling said they like hanging out with me.

Either way, Gangle has a point. We've seen that Raggie can feel like a Raggedy Andy deep down. And as funny as it is seeing Raggie be savage, it shows what she could be when her filter is off. While Raggie tries hard to not be negative, Zooble is one of the realest Performers, so it means a lot when someone who wears their feelings on their sleeve can use that honesty to say they like her. Normally I don't get into shipping with this show, but Zoogle comes close for me.

I'm confident that it will come out some time in 2025, but you must check out the upcoming pilot for Far-Fetched, a indie series about a girl, her nightcore/grunge band (not sure what else to call it), and the girl's demon puppy who came out of her head. Fun, right? It's created by Ashley Nichols (Zooble VA), and I'm pretty confident it'll be really good.

also when gangle threw away the mask, she was experiencing a manic episode and nearly had derealization, she was going insane!(not as weirdly beautiful as it seems...)

Well I've had derealization before, I've had moments of extreme greyness and overwhelming negative emotions followed up by euphoric emotions that feel like colors in your stomach. It is quite beautiful while you're in those euphoric stages but all in all it's def not fun like u said

I also really like Ragatha so I'm choosing to believe she's not a villain. Maybe that line means Gangle feels like Ragatha is so afraid of being disliked that she's always saying the 'scripted nice thing', and after awhile it just feels like talking to a script rather than someone you can authentically be close with. Looking forward to seeing the truth behind Ragatha's "mask" too! Also, may I suggest reacting to the indie cartoon Monkey Wrench? The new episode just came out a few days ago and I worked on it a bit as an animator.

This episode really shows Gangle’s life story and let us witness that she is broken character till the end having a friend being Zooble. 🥲 As both characters are broken but they shall stick together like a duo of friends or even family. Also is it just me to realize that Gummigoo was about to reach out to Pomni to tell her something till Gangle stop them with the time switching to lunch hour.

The thing about Ragatha: coming from experience, being a people-pleaser involves really pushing down your thoughts and emotions. You want everyone to be happy (not just in general, but with you), so you don’t say anything that might maybe even a little bit upset the other person, and realistically not a person on earth always has positive thoughts so it comes off as extremely ungenuine after a while (especially in awful situations like what they are typically in). It has nothing to do with her being a bad person, it’s just hard to connect with someone when you don’t REALLY know how they think or feel. Gangle isn’t the only one with a mask, and actually I would say the only one WITHOUT a mask is Pomni since she’s so new (and Kinger for obvious reasons). Everyone is uniquely screwed up in this circus and it’s great :)
