Can i use urea as a organic nitrogen source in sawdust based hydrophonic system.

Well u can use a organic fertilize but more than likely that first year u will see nutrient def. The saw dust when breaking down it uses nitrogen to break down taking mineral from ur plant. But with that said about saw dust. U can use it after that first year with no problem or u can use peat moss and stay organic the whole time. I hope that helps. Any other questions please feel free to ask. Thank you happy farming out there

I am from India . Your knowledge is great sir. I am your international fan. Sir Indian climate can hydroponics grow by sawdust media. India temperature day time 35 Celsius. Sawdust pH level effect on plant?
@poppysfarm67742 жыл бұрын
Most sawdust has the ph of 6 some will make it go up or down. But 5.5 to 7 is all within the range for plant growth. If u have a high ph consistent u can mix baking soda in the saw dust and bring the ph back down. Thank you for being a fan hope that helps

Awesome. I will try to get it to u privately if I can. But it works great this is my last year with any soil garden after this year I will be all saw dust. It really works. And with everything going like it is we sure need a way for the average Joe to feed himself without breaking the bank.
