Seems like you get a lot of comments from people that just aren't educated about your country. I would wager most have never visited the Philippines and traveled around the cities and provinces to see how the people live, so they just don't know what they are talking about. Everyone I have seen there, even if they don't have much, are happy with what they have... There are so many here in the US that have a lot of money and material "things", but are just miserable souls... Glad you covered this one! 🙂❤️

Petite, when I was sick and close to dying. My nurses were mostly Filipinas. They were awesome, some of the most caring people that I have ever met. Other nurses just didn't seem to care as much. I might not be alive today without them.The Phillipines may be on the whole a poor country due to money. You are rich in humanity, in Love and friendship. I wish you the best my Dear for you and your family.

This is my 3rd times I have been coming and working from the Phils ( running away from the cold & snow in Canada). . Last year I worked from Tanza Cavite, with 24x7 internet access over 350Mbps, no power outage. This year I am in Butuan city with power outage at least once a day, with 2 internet services ( one as a back up since I need for my access to the stock & futures markets) , currently I don't have water ( drums are full ) ...... still I love it , the people are great, . And as Filipina Petite mentioned, things are cheaper, people here are happy , polite and very helpful. To me, it is a great place , a great country, I love it.

My experience traveling to the Philippines twice to see my Filipina GF, is most people are happy and thankful despite having so little compared to The West. In the U.S., even though who have good money tend to be unhappy and stressed out. LoL.

Many people think that material things are what gages your wealth. In the philippines, family is wealth, and having a roof over your head and food in your belly is wealth. At the end of your life, what do you really have because everything will be left behind, and it is how you will be remembered is what matters.

Just dont understand why people call the Philippines a poor country. If i see the happiness of people who live there with just a small amounts of money but still have food. Think most USA people look that whay because they compare it with their own country. I am from the Netherlands but know how it is to be poor and even homeless but i did survive and have a different view than most people that didn't walked the way i did. I have seen many south Asian countries and respect how people live there and their culture's and i am sure they dont see them self as poor because poor not means that you dont have money but means that you dont have happiness, food or a home. Just enjoy the little things in life and be simple and fair. and luckily most Philippine people are like that.
@waterbug11355 ай бұрын
PH is called poor because it's in reference to economic living standard. There are many ways this is computed, but GDP-PPP per capita is popular. What you're doing is popular in social media, change the meaning of words. A person can be poor and happy just as a person can be rich and unhappy. These are different words with different meanings.
@gino_58_nl245 ай бұрын
@@waterbug1135 I dont change anything, i just dont see anything in black and white and i am open minded . Poor means lacking sufficient money to live at a standard considered comfortable or normal in a society. There are people in Africa that dont use money but still have a rich life. but you will call them poor i think.

Hi Petite, there are some gold diggers, they are everywhere. Most Filipinas are educated, speak more than one language, have a decent understanding of the rest of the world. Yes, it is a bad ecomy, but Filipinas don't sit and complain all day about, they make the best of it, are are happy people over all. .most Filipinas when they are dressed up for church, for example, you'd never they were on a poor economy...Petite, don't worry about these uninformed people...keep up the good work..

I'm so sorry FP for the ignorant comment that person posted. I know most Filipina's don't understand some things like western humor, insults or condescending comments. That was not a kind comment. 4.5k here outside of a city is a smidge over poverty. Inside a city its poor. You can get by and save but only if living very frugal. Finding a reasonable rent/mortgage right now is a very tall order though. Forget it in a city with that earning rate. If more men were handy their homes would look a little less poor. I just notice people tend to just not bother to maintain like anything. Except cleaning the floor a few times a day. I'm sure more men are handy in the province out of necessity just as more people know how to grow food there. Just an observation/criticism I've come to over the years. Anyway that guy's comment was just a salty/ignorant person. Also wealth isn't only measured in money and materials.

💯 % truth!!! The public transportation is amazing and plentiful. The food is amazing and it is bountiful. Life is less complicated in the Philippines 🇵🇭 and the quality of life is as amazing as you want it to be. The Philippines is not a "3rd World" country. It is technically labeled by many nations across the World as " Developing Country ". The term "3rd World" is just an ignorant assumption. I would also like to say that Filipinas don't target white western men for their money, social status, or even physical appearance. Filipinas do not "Catch" us, anymore than an American woman would. Actually a Filipina will see your heart and the goodness in your soul, then based her opinion of your true character, she will then decide if you are attractive inside and out. Lastly, I will say that living in the Philippines, just like living in western society, is all about how you make it. If you are a miserable person, then anywhere you go around the world is going to suck. Most likely the person who made that most ignorant comment hasn't spent much time in the Philippines themselves and obviously does not know how to correctly observe and determine a country's "developmental status". 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️

And they are willing to share their food with anybody... Very loving and caring people

No 1st world country. There are developed and developing countries. You don't need to explain how one lives in your country as they don't need to explain theirs. What is considered funny is that a lot of "ex-pats" are moving to yours or other developing countries for one reason, quality of life, quantity of live, and of course, the Filipina. Great watching your video, but you do not have to explain.....
