Something weird happens with England where they suddenly lose all ability to go forward or put an attack together. When that happens, they just spent the rest of the game defending. Southgate seems to be unable to change things when this happens and get them going again. It's the reason they lost the final against Italy. Same thing happened against Serbia but Serbia weren't good enough to win. England won't win any tournaments unless they find a solution to this problem.
