I have one question. Was stormbreaker angry at Thor at the ending of this movie? I am not sure. Because when Gorr sets up Stormbreaker to open biofrost stormbreaker could react on that. Secondly when thor goes to stop stormbreaker opening bio frost it does not stop, and storm breaker gives a small electric shock to Thor.. Was it very angry on Thor? Because thor did not try to summon it when thor reaches the centre of the universe. Or it is angry because thor may call it from anywhere and it could open the biofrost and reach thor? I am not sure what do you think? And final question. Do you notice stormbreaker's change? Before it opens the gate of Eternity, the logo/symbol it leaves on ground was different (more like asgardian logo) and after opening the gate, it was different(eternity gate logo)..did you notice?

In MoC podcast, what Mohit bhai and PJ discussed, just happened in this movie. That's why this movie started disappointing me from the opening because it clearly showed movie's lazy writing. *In order to make its villain sympathetic (like so many other MCU villains), the writers forcefully lightened the weight of the reasons behind his really sick ideology/philosophy and actions i.e. how he 'intentionally chose a wrong path', a revengeful path.* I mean, they forcefully changed the portrayal of Gods (from what they really are, and from comics too) in a bad and wrong way, and made them some sort of lazy, careless narcissistic douchebags, just to make audience think this way: "well, since this is how Gods are, they really deserve to die. So, Gorr is not wrong on a basic level, he's like an anti-hero, not a villain." - Were the writers of this movie some hateful, toxic non-believers who trying to impose his wrong ideology by making Gods a joke? They tried to portray him as some sort of 'anti-hero' (thematically) instead of what he really is also by showing that he was just corrupted by Nerco Sword (at least, for the most part), while in comics, his bad actions and his wrong ideology were the products of his rage or anger, his desperation for revenge, his depression, or say, him being mentally weakness (i.e. inability to tolerate the toll of the tragedy and then, losing control over himself) and his irrationality. They tried to justify (not mainly 'understandable' or 'sympathetic' but 'justify') his evilness and wrong ideology and bad decisions/actions. - *Why I find this problematic? Because it clearly shows that many, times, MCU is not open with the portrayal of its villains. MCU plays safe.... with its stories and its villains. And many times, playing safe leads to mediocrity.* They did the same thing with Darkhold and Wanda.

Zeus is like Odin or we cam say may be more powerful than Odin. And they literally make fun of the character. They should've shown the depth,anger and wrath of zeus but they just made him a clown. Marvel writers are having a bad time writing these movies. First they have to remember what was already done to avoid any congruency issues with the previous storyline, then they have to avoid writing what other writers are writing in the other movies/series that are still in production, then they have to avoid writing what the studio might make a movie about in the coming years. Apart from that they have to leave all the Sony characters which were part of their storyline earlier. Also, the studio wants the writers to give some 5-10 minutes to introduce new characters to set up their future franchise. They also have to make sure that the story remains different from the comic book written to make sure the comic book fans also watch their movies 🍿🎥. And even if they manage to write a decent storyline the studio asks them to chop almost 1 hour of the movie to increase the total number of screenings per day. NO DOUBT their movies are shit now.

Yep! Guess it'll be DC overtaking from here on(once they settle with The Flash movie coming in 2023). I still can't believe that movies like Winter Soldier and Civil war were made by the same studios. MoM would had been a success if they hadn't spoiled everything in the trailer just like NWH. But this ! Thor had no chance- literally too much jokes, no brutal fight scenes , very less storyline of Gorr and yeah no God Butchering shown🙂, child kidnapping. Overall didn't felt the satisfaction and epicness in the movie. It was just like a mid one.

I also like because I want entertainment from movie. Not logic behind everything. If it entertains me then it's good but if not then it's bad. Movies are meant to just enjoy and leave they are not like subject that you put logic in everything. Movies are seen when you are bored or feel frustrated not like making custom to watch every movie. If you are going to do that then obvious that many will not entertain you. That's why many movie reviewer tells some good movies also a medicore. They don't see it as entertainment but as serious fun.

I think the movie was quite enjoyable. Bale did a splendid job as Gorr, Hemsworth as Thor is at zenith in this movie, so is Natalie Portman as Mighty Thor. The narrative sequences by Korg was something new and if you compare the movie with Ragnarok, it was a nice follow-up. And ofcourse, you shouldn't expect every new marvel movie in the line of Infinity war and Endgame.
