This reminds me of a design I made last Christmas using tracing paper. I put a battery operated candle inaide it and hung it on the Christmas tree. One for each of the grand parents that had passed away and could be with us at this special time. It really helped my children. But of course, it doesn't have to be commemorative. It's just a wonderfully beautiful decoration.

Really pleased with my 1st attempt! It's amazing how easily it all comes together closing top & bottom. A bead threaded next to the knot in the ribbon as suggested by Linda Harris below works beautifully to stop the knot coming through the holes, which enables using thin decorative silver cord as well as narrow ribbon. Thank you Sam, great design & I reckon this size would hold at least 6 toffees

I think they would be cute made with orange paper and decorated as jack o lanterns. Green ribbon, die cut leaf, black eyes and mouth. Filled with candy to pass out as party favors.

Sam, I love all of your boxes. And I do all of my diagonal lines going in one direction and the so all of the opposite ones. It’s just easier to go along the width of the project then back again.

Origami meets Stampin Up. Yep, that's what it is. Beautiful cube boxes, for a better title. Can you imagine if these were the only decorations you had on your Christmas tree? Having to make 75 of these pups. I bet my hands would hurt and cramp up. Besides my carpal tunnel and the arthritis in my thumbs, would have a fit. I'm going to do it, with enlisted help. Fabulous tutorial. You could always add a bead to the ribbon after threading it through to help keep it in place.
