Ron Howard leaving the show left a huge void. The show lost the Everyman whom the audience identified with. Richie was the eyes and ears of the show. Fonzie was who we wanted to be. After Richie left, you had two Alpha Males in Chachi and Fonzie. Not the same dynamic. It’s a bit like a tennis match. Fonzie no longer had Richie to hit the ball back to him. It’s not the same game. Excellent conversation as always!
