In fact I tried by removing the gray protection of the lid and although having been able to reset the chip the tray is no longer recognized so how to get around this problem?? Thank you!

Hello I know this isn’t a video on the l1800 I just got one I was just wondering if when printing what is it that you put on the print tray and why don’t you just use only the print tray. Seems to be everyone adds something instead of just using the tray the printer comes with could you link me possibly to buy whatever you set on yours?

You need to make an additional exit tray, that sits just below the exit rollers. DTF film is heavier than regular paper, so it has a tendency to bend, as the film exits the printer. When the film bends, it usually strikes the printhead at the end of the print. The exit tray keeps it from bending, so it prints the entire sheet without striking the film. I made mine out of the plastic yard sign board and cardboard. Then I wrapped everything in black adhesive vinyl.

hi how are you ? now i have a SCP5000 TDF I would like to know how to empty the excess ink rejected in the recovery block because on the lid it is written not to remove it! And yet on your videos I see that there is possibility after omitting this protection to put back maintenance pads and reuse the recovery block what manipulation to do so that I get there myself? I can reset the chip!

Yes, but I will only stick to having them made for the P5000 and our commercial printers. I will send the targets to the technician, next week.
