@@alicesings1971 Yes, we were fortunate to have Queen Elizabeth for 96 years and as the Monarch for 70. Here's an interesting piece of trivia: A staggering 94% of the world’s population was born after Elizabeth became Queen; many never knew of a time when she wasn’t present.

My favorite picture with a laughing Queen Elizabeth 2 and prince Philip is the picture taken after bees invated the place where Queen Elizabeth 2 and Prince Philip did their duty. I don't remember what the occasion was about but Prince Philip was wearing one of his uniforms. This picture was taken a few years before they died but they still were giggling like teenagers. So lovely to see.

Prince Phillip was definitely a fearless innovator, but in a very practical manner. If something had a timely and measurable benefit he seemed to work hard to see it through to implementation. He did wonderful things for the UK and Commonwealth as well as keeping stern control in family matters and, of course, the support he gave to our late Queen was simply incomparable. Another interesting story and what an unexpected pairing of Frank Sinatra and Prince Phillip - many thanks Neil.

The late Queen and Prince Philip had a truly inspiring love story. We all know the beginnings of their courtship and it angered me when Harry implied that he was the only one who married for love. Such arrogance! Oprah sure didn’t correct him.

Harry did not marry for love, he was so excited how she let him do anything, that is not love Harry, , and she used to work on the yachts so , I suppose she dazzled you , she has many tricks that one

What an arrogant pr*ck! He did not marry for love, she tricked him and he was in lust, not love! The Queen and Prince Philip were married for 73 years; Edward and Sophie married for 25 years;William and Catherine married for 13 years but have been together for 24 years. King Charles and Camilla have been married for almost 20 years and Princess Anne and Sir Tim have been married for 32 years!

The closest I know of him complaining was when a reporter asked him what language he spoke as a child at home. His answer "What home?" Like his eldest son, he spoke several languages, but unlike his son, he never had a place to call home until he married. Just a refugee who was shunted from one country and relative to another.

He's one the main reasons that I'm so disappointed in Harry and how Harry acts like he's the only one in the royal family that's ever been hurt by the rules of the Monarchy and by the press. You could see they both respected eachother immensely for this mutual, humbling understanding.
