I admire your ability to tackle projects head on, I tend to overthink myself into frozen mode. Looking forward to the next video

Are y'all planning on gluing in some insulation board to replace the Styrofoam you're taking out? May want to measure the thickness of the old foam for a close-as-possible match-up. If you're putting the A/C unit back up there, you might consider constructing some additional roof beams to support that weight as well. Wood or metal will work if placed properly and matching the curve of the factory header beams. This looks to be a fun remodel.

I need to do the same on my fleetwood Niagara pop up. Dang water got in on the end caps and AC unit mount seal was damaged. Thanks for the great info

The upper lift arm nuts are supposed to be loose. The bottom ones should be snug, but the top is supposed to be exactly how you found it - with a big gap from being tight.

How heavy was the top? Could the two of you handle it easily?
@Robinson-Homestead4 жыл бұрын
I would say it was a little heavier than the original but we could handle it just fine thanks for the comment Tommy.
