Jennifer, I love watching ALL of your videos. Not only is your voice soothing, admittedly I occasionally fall asleep 😉. But, the cards usually feature a technique, that doesn’t involve purchasing another item. What a treasure to be able to create an amazing card using items I already own. Thank you so much for sharing. I always look forward to your videos and save them to watch over and over. You know in case I did drift off a a little. ☺️

Someone needs to send Jennifer one of those "you amaze me" cards, because every single one of her videos amazes me, she's so talented and her cards all turn out so beautiful. Even when i'm not a fan of the stamps she uses, or the style its done in, i still can't help but think "wow. That looks really great. I personally might not make something like this, but i also know if i ever received this card, i would cry from happiness" however, all the cards in this video are definitely ones i would love to make, and I'm totally going to be buying some of these sets, to try for myself. ♡

Jennifer, I truly appreciate this video! I love that these pop up cards are so simply constructed! I think this is the easiest pop up construction I’ve seen. And it would be very easy to do this even if you don’t use die cuts. Because the shapes work best when they’re simpler, they could easily be hand cut. I always like that you try to include options for us who may not have access to all the supplies you use. Your videos always inspire me. Thank you.

Just an idea I use when making pop-ups like these (using cubes) is to score a panel the right length then cut to the right depth strips after as so much easier , especially making a batch of cards with same size cube pop-ups in. Love your cards and excellent tutorial as ever - love watching as not only inspiring but relaxing ! I think you need to narrate audio books as you have such a calm relaxing voice. Xxx

Love, love, LOOOOOOVE! So simple, but so much impact! I can definitely see myself making a ton of these pop up cards. What weight cardstock do you recommend for the pop up cubes? I usually use Neenah 110lb for my cardbases and colouring, but it might create too much bulk if I made cubes out of it and put it in the fold of the card. So maybe a lighter weight would be better? But then would it be strong enough to pop up? 😅
@jennifermcguireink5 жыл бұрын
Very good question! i should have mentioned. i used 110lb for mine. but i did do a practice one with 80lb and it still worked! so use what you have. scraps are even great for this! :)
