This arrived in a long and sturdy Colapz branded box, with the tent ready packed into its carry case. I watched the assembly video which all seemed very straight forward so was fairly confident I could put this up without any issues.
The tent comes with a small bag containing plastic tent pegs and a sheet detailing the functions and features such as UV resistant material being used, storage, capacity and more. The whole package weighs less than 3kg so is very easy to carry around, and does not take up too much space.
I took the tent outside with the children to set it up and assembly, even the first time after just watching the video took me under three minutes start to finish which was quicker the second time I put it up. The pegs hold down well with holding loops on the front and rear of the main tent along with two sand bag weight flaps on the rear should they be needed. The foldable front door has loops round the edge for holding it down with pegs and holding the door closed which work well and feel very secure.
The tent finishing appears very good and once assembled it sits solidly in place. The material used is very lightweight but also feels very strong and durable. The children played in the tent all afternoon and loved it with the meshed window on the back giving an all round view and the pockets inside useful for storage.
Disassembling the tent is just as quick as assembly and once you squeeze and trapped air out the quick release strap goes on, and it fits easily back into the carry case very smoothly.
Overall I was quite impressed with this pop up tent, it really is so simple to assemble, and it’s very lightweight so not only takes up very little room but is easy to carry. Disassembly is just as quick as assembly so there really is no messing about and groaning at the time it will take.
