Last year, when we had 2 inches of ice in Nashville, my neighbors and I took hammers, a garden hoe, and heavy metal shovels and broke up the ice. It was a group effort, but it was super effective. The most effective tool was, by far, the garden hoe. Give it a try, Cory!

Hey if your driveway has standing water try to drain tile it. What that does is that it will create sort of a ditch underneath the ground and it will pull the water away from the driveway so you won't have that much ice

Saw the pot, saw the popcorn, knew right away you guys were in big trouble! :-) In a slightly bigger pot, I use 3/4 cup of kernels and 3 full tablespoons of olive oil. Fills up nicely!

When I make my popcorn I just ensure the bottom of the pot is covered in a light layer of oil and then do the same with the kernels, just ensure bottom of pot is covered in a single layer so it doesn't matter what size of pot I use depending on how many it's being made for but gives perfect, unburnt popcorn each time!

Depending what you need it for, an axe doesn't necessarily need to be sharp. If you're cutting down trees, it would need to be sharp then, but for breaking ice and the heads of zombies, blunt is fine too. :)

Cory please tell me that you sharpened that axe afterwards. I can't stand when people leave a tool dull for a few reasons A) it is more dangerous, if you cut yourself it will tear the flesh instead of a clean cut B) The next use is more annoying and harder C) if someone else uses it they complain and complaints are not fun to listen to.

My mom makes the best pop corn! And a little pop corn making tip! Put 1-2 kernels in the oil and when one or both pop the pot and oil are hot and ready and you pour the rest of the popcorn in! :) Also, I eat tagalongs the same way as Kristen! It makes them last longer and you can savor the flavor. ^_^ One more thing.... The expiration date isn't necessarily when the food goes bad. It's just when the store can't sell it anymore, even if it's still good. P.S. is there a way I can get a new SMP Films shirt...? Mine is getting worn out..... and I love them!

Guys you can make that in the microwave! Put 1 tablespoon of oil in a paper bag and about 1/4 cup of popcorn kernels and either tape or staple( no worries it's okay to put staples in I have done it and researched it as well) the bag the first batch will not be that great but re use the bag a couple times and it's perfect!

Yo-- your driveway needs a visit from an asphalt crew to place little pyramids in rows. Perhaps 2-3 inches tall. May make it a little noisy when no snow, but it might work. I find making popcorn really stinks up the house-- try an air-popper.

Haha! Awesome! Popcorn doesn't go bad because they're dried kernels, like rice. My family makes popcorn like that and to fill a pot that big without burning any it only takes about 1/2 to 1 cup of kernels. Watching you put the whole thing in made me laugh, I'm surprised it all still fit! In my opinion the only popcorn that compares to stove cooked popcorn is movie theater popcorn. Also, holding the lid and shaking the pot a bit when the popcorn is really going helps avoid burning it, in my experience.
