Popcorn Farming | Fertilize and Hope for Rain | Field Tracker 2020 Episode 3

It's time to butter the popcorn! Actually it's time to feed it some nitrogen fertilizer. We'll do that at the start of the video, and then we will jump forward a few weeks after our first really hot stretch of the year which happened to be dry as well. Dry was good for us early in the season as other parts of the Corn Belt battled heavy rains, but now the tables have turned just a bit.

You mean the whole field? It's regular yellow popcorn for microwave. The garden in the video is Japanese Hulless. I think it's yellow too. I've grown a few strawberry before for fun. They look cool.

@@TheFarmersLife i live in a predominantly Amish area. all the little local places sell red and blue it must be an Amish thing because they don't even have regular popcorn in there stores
